LeeLow Learning is always looking for talented and enthusiastic Secondary English teachers.

We teach children aged 11 to 18 using traditional methods, specialising in GCSE and A Level but also teaching Key Stage 3 students the essential GCSE skills: Making strong points, how to find judicious quotes, language analysis, inference, sentence demarcation, coherent structures, and complex punctuation. 

Successful applicants will have a PGCE or B’ED and experience in teaching. Flexible hours to suit your schedule. A regular commitment to the sessions is necessary. DBS checks will be done and support from two referees is required.

Fluent English and UK Secondary English teaching experience required.

Person specification

  • PGCE / B’Ed degree in education or related field (or UK-recognised overseas equivalent)

  • Teachers experienced in coaching children for verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests are especially encouraged to apply as some of our parents want to get their children into select schools where children are required to sit entrance exams

  • Excellent student interaction skills in small groups and 1-to-1 settings

  • Please state whether you are retired, newly qualified or actively teaching full or part-time
